The Danish Problem Gambling Committee received several strong applications for the 2023 fund.

The funding committee has reviewed all applications, and we are pleased to announce that the Danish Problem Gambling Committee is awarding support to two Danish research projects within the field of gambling addiction/problematic gambling behavior:

• Internet-based treatment compared to face-to-face cognitive behavioral therapy for patients with Gambling Disorder – a randomized controlled trial of treatment effects
  PhD project by psychologist and PhD candidate Anna Westh Stenbro,  Aarhus University Hospital.

• Gamblified game mechanics in Danish children and young people’s gaming
  By Anne Mette Thorhauge, associate professor, University of Copenhagen.
